SUBJECT: Proposed Amendments to Resolution No. 438-16; a resolution
transferring/appropriating an appropriation out and from a designated fund
account and crediting same to a designated fund account to provide a grant to
Kokua Pahoa to defray costs related to efforts addressing homelessness in Pahoa.
Please find attached proposed amendments to Resolution No. 438-16. The proposed
amendments are illustrated below by Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of Resolution
438-16 (material to be deleted is bracketed and stricken, material to be added is underscored):
1. The title is amended to read as follows:
"A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION
OUT AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME
TO A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PROVIDE A GRANT TO KOKUA
PAHOA TO DEFRAY COSTS RELATED TO EFFORTS
[ ]ADDRESSING HOMELESSNESS IN PAHOA."
2. The final be it resolved clause is amended to read as follows:
"BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of
this resolution to the Director of[' = -.. • . •: `- . . ••- • J Liquor Control and
Director of Finance, and that the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the
necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution."
Due to time constraint, a draft copy of Resolution No. 438-16, Draft 2,with the proposed
amendments incorporated will not be provided.
