I, Katy Benjamin, support Bill 140 because I am deeply concerned by the negative health impacts that single-use EPS
foam and plastic have on our marine wildlife and human health. EPS foam continues to find its way into the ocean and
can end up being ingested by numerous marine animals for years to come.With our deep morals of Malama and lokahi
it is our Kuleana to the world to lead the way in protecting the environment. I am emboldened by our keiki to make a
commitment to change this behavior and show them that we will take steps to support a cleaner future for all.
