I fully support a ban on these single use containers and hope our island's members of council can see the environmental hazards of styrofoam. As a frequent visitor of many island beaches, I often can be found picking up trash. The majority of trash on the shores edge is bits of styrofoam. Unfortunately when styrofoam is discarded, it breaks into many pieces which are easy to spread and difficult to clean up. Sadly, birds and fish consume these pieces since they are so small. Please consider our plea to ban the use of polystyrene and help our aina stay clean. I appreciate your time. Sincerely, Lisa Franklin 733 Mililani St Hilo HI Comm. No. (,(,4119 Ref. To: t itU • Ref.
