Subject: Support HI County Bill to Ban polystyrene foam "Styrofoam"
Aloha Council Members,
I am writing to testify in my support of the ban or reduction of the use of Polystyrene "Styrofoam" food
containers and foodservice wares on Hawaii Island.
Styrofoam is non-degradable, non-compostable and made from non-renewable resources. Our island `Aina is
precious and our solid waste resources are limited.
Please consider the environment and make the right decision for your future!
