Subject: styrofoam ban
Aloha,
I am a resident of Kailua Kona and I strongly support this ban on styrofoam.I would love to see the big island follow up its progressive ban
on plastic bags with this ban on styrofoam packaging products.There are plenty of other easy to access renewable/recyclable products to use
for packaging other than this non-degradeable product.It breaks my heart to see so many local businesses still using it!Placing a ban on this
product is an easy step but one that will have an enormous impact on helping protect our land and resources!
