Box 179469, Honolulu, HI 96817. This donated canine will be used by the Police Department's Hilo Juvenile Aid Section to track and locate missing persons. Public Safety Dogs in North Carolina has chosen Labrador named Falcon. The dog is valued at S5000. Once we get the final approval to have the dogs shipped over, we will notify your police department. In reviewing this matter, timely approval is crucial. It is therefore advantageous that approval is granted and the matter be placed onto the next Council agenda for review. However, in the event this request is denied, for whatever reason, I understand the matter shall be referred to the Committee on Finance for placement on its future agenda.
