Dear Chairman Kanuha and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Emma Y. Sousa to the Hawai'i County Pension Board.
Ms. Souza is a lifelong resident of Hawaii. She previously served a full term as a
member of this board.
Ms. Sousa is Chair of the Board of the Hawai'i County Employees Federal Credit Union.
She also serves as Secretary of the Kilauea Tenrikyo Church and Treasurer of the Hilo
High School Class of 1966. She states that she is not affiliated with any political party.
If confirmed, Ms. Sousa will serve a term to end on December 31, 2019.
