Subject : Referral of Bill No. 140 for Review and Recommendation by the
Environmental Management Commission
Pursuant to Ordinance 12-114, we are required to respond to your request for review and
recommendation of the subject Bill within a 45-day period.
The Environmental Management Commission's (EMC) meeting scheduled for March 23, 2016
was cancelled due to lack of quorum and the EMC will not reconvene until after the 45-day
review deadline of April 1, 2016. Therefore pursuant to County Code section 2-207, "such
inaction shall be considered as a negative recommendation."
