SUBJECT: A Bill for an Ordinance amending Chapter 24, Article 11, Division 1,
Section 24-298 and Section 24-300 of the Hawai'i County Code 1983
(2005 Edition, as amended), Relating to Speed Limits on Private Streets.
Attached is a bill for an ordinance amending the Traffic Schedules by adding the unpaved roads
and sections of unpaved roads in the Fern Forest Subdivision to the 15 mile-per-hour schedule
for private streets and all paved roads and sections of paved roads within said subdivision to the
25 mile-per-hour schedule.
Please place the attached bill on the next appropriate Committee meeting agenda.
