A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO CONSTRUCT TWO NEW BUS SHELTERS IN
COUNCIL DISTRICT 7.
WHEREAS, the Mass Transit Agency improves the lifestyle of the residents of the
County of Hawai`i by increasing their mobility and providing accessible transportation; and
WHEREAS, a program objective of the Mass Transit Agency is to continue the
expansion of official bus shelters island wide; and
WHEREAS, two new bus shelters are needed in Council District 7 to provide the public
with a safe place to wait and shelter from the elements; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 7 will be appropriated to
the Mass Transit Agency to construct two new bus shelters in Council District 7; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Mass Transit Administrator and Director of Finance, and that the Director of
Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this
resolution.
