RESOLUTION NO. 493 16
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO REGULATION
SIZE TABLE TENNIS TABLES FOR KEKUAOKALANI GYMNASIUM.
WHEREAS, the Kekuaokalani Gymnasium at Kailua Park Complex wishes to develop
and promote table tennis as part of its recreation programs; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation, Recreation Division, is requesting
funds to purchase two regulation size table tennis tables for the community's use to provide basic
skills and training and to teach the fundamentals of table tennis; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 7 will be appropriated to
the Department of Parks and Recreation for the purchase of two regulation size table tennis
tables for Kekuaokalani Gymnasium; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC —Contingency Relief $3,000
CREDITED TO:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance, and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
