REQUEST: A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR MULTI-YEAR LEASES FOR THREE (3) COPIERS FOR THE OFFICE OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED): The lease of one of OHCD's copiers currently in use expired in December 2015, and the lease for OHCD's second copier currently in use will expire in April 2016; both copiers have and will exceed their recommended usage and are constantly being repaired. The lease of OHCD's third copier will be for a new multi-year lease for the OHCD Office at the West Hawaii Civic Center location. Obtaining leases on technically advanced copiers, which provide more features and options, will increase staff productivity and will allow them to keep up with the increased demands placed upon the offices. We are requesting this Resolution be waived through Finance Committee. SIGNED: DATE \--LL 1 Ib •- ment Head KAREN EOFF +w•us• . AARON S.Y.
