Re: Operating Budget
A concurrent resolution is being placed on the Council's meeting agenda to transfer
$20,000 from the Clerk-Council Services Contingency Relief account to the Highway
Fund. These funds will be used to purchase and install solar flashing lights designated
for use at the new pedestrian crosswalk on Kuakini Highway.
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating this
$20,000 to the Department of Public Works, Traffic Division's Signals and Street Lights,
Highway Materials account within the Highway Fund.
The Department of Public Works is requesting that this bill be waived from the Finance
Committee and be placed on the April 20, 2016 Council Agenda. If there are any
questions, please do not hesitate to contact Warren Lee, Director of Public Works, at
961-8321.
