COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION NO. 514 16
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT FOR THE PURCHASE OF REPLACEMENT
FIXTURES AND LIGHTS FOR THE HALE HALAWAI PAVILION.
WHEREAS, Hale Halawai is a County recreational facility that is utilized by the public
for elderly activities, family celebrations, community meetings, classes, and other various events;
and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funds for replacement
fixtures and lights for the Hale Halawai pavilion; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 7 will be appropriated to
the Department of Parks and Recreation for the purchase of replacement fixtures and lights for
the Hale Halawai pavilion; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC—Contingency Relief $5,000
CREDITED TO:
010.500.5505.02 Department of Parks and Recreation $5,000

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance, and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
