The grant in the amount of $47,164.63 would be used by PATH to administer the
County’s Safe Routes to School program.

Bill 154: INITIATES AN AMENDMENT TO ARTICLE III, SECTION 3-2 OF THE HAWAI‘I
COUNTY CHARTER (2014), RELATING TO COUNTY COUNCIL TERMS
Amends the term for Council Members from two to four years, and the term limit
from two to three consecutive terms. Would take effect on December 5, 2016, and
apply to all Council Members elected in the 2016 elections, regardless of how many
terms an incumbent Council Member has served.
