RESOLUTION NO. 522 16
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO PROVIDE A GRANT TO YESHUA OUTREACH
CENTER, INC. TO ASSIST WITH THE PURCHASE OF REPLACEMENT PARTS AND
EQUIPMENT FOR A BOXING RING.
WHEREAS, Yeshua Outreach Center, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is
dedicated to building character, teaching respect, and developing champions; and
WHEREAS, Yeshua Outreach Center, Inc. hosts USA Boxing-sanctioned events at its
certified boxing ring in Puna;
WHEREAS, Yeshua Outreach Center, Inc. is requesting funds to assist with the
purchase of replacement parts and equipment for its certified boxing ring; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 2-139(a)(2)(A) of the Hawai`i County Code,
Contingency Relief funds shall be transferred to an accepting County department/agency via
resolution identifying the nonprofit organization and the specific program, project, event,
activity, service, equipment, materials, or supplies for which the grant shall be used; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 4 will be appropriated to
the Department of Parks and Recreation to provide a grant to Yeshua Outreach Center, Inc. to
assist with the purchase of replacement parts and equipment for its boxing ring; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance, and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
