RE: Proposed Amendment to Resolution No. 526-16; a Resolution Authorizing the
Acceptance of the Donation for Park Purposes of Lot 2-A-I-A Identified as
Tax Map Key: (3) 7-7-008:030, Situated at Pahoehoe 3rd and 4th and La'aloa 1",
North Kona, County and State of Ilawai`i, from the Island of Hawaii YMCA.
Please see below proposed amendments to Resolution No. 526-16. The amendments are
illustrated below in Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of Resolution No. 526-16
(material to be deleted is bracketed and stricken through; material to be added is underscored).
I. The first WHEREAS clause is amended to read as follows:
"WHEREAS, The Island of Hawaii YMCA, a liawai'i nonprofit corporation
(hereinafter referred to as "YMCA"), is the owner of Lot 2-A-I-A identified as
Tax Map Key: (3) 7-7-008:030, situated at Pahoehoe 3rd and 4'h and La`aloa 1", North
Kona, County and State of I lawai`i, consisting of approximately [6.356] 6.365 acres,
more or less, as described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and delineated on Exhibit"B"
attached hereto (hereinafter referred to as "Parcel"); and"

2. The first BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED clause is amended to read as follows:
"BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in accordance with Article XIII.
Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, the County of Hawaii accepts the donation
of the Parcel from The Island of Hawaii YMCA, being Lot 2-A-1-A identified as
Tax Map Key: (3) 7-7-008:030, situated at Pahoehoe 3`d and 4th and La'aloa 1". North
Kona, County and State of I-Iawai`i, consisting of approximately [6336] 6.365 acres.
more or less, as described on Exhibit"A" attached hereto and delineated on Exhibit "B"
attached hereto."
Due to the scope of the amendment, a draft copy of Resolution No. 526-16, Draft 2, is not attached.
