Dear Chairman Kanuha and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Mr. Eddie K. Akau to the South Kohala Community
Development Plan (CDP) Action Committee. Mr. Akau is a lifelong resident of Hawaii.
He is employed by Cyanotech Corporation as a Farms Project Technician. Mr. Akau is
a member of the Waimea Civic Club, and the Association of Hawaiian Civic Clubs, and
Punana Leo 0 Waimea. He and the Akau `Ohana participate in the Adopt-a-Highway
Program.
Mr. Akau states that he is not affiliated with any political party. If confirmed, he will
serve a 4-year term.
