I write to express my opposition to Bill 165 which would add a County CD
of Hawaii surcharge of one-half percent on top of the current 4.0 4 -H-f--;
General Excise Tax.
As a Realtor in our beautiful County for 11 years, I have diligently
paid GET for all of those 11 years. In times when the market is low
and my income is just enough to pay my own bills, GET is difficult to
pay for. Clients do not like to pay for GET, leaving the fee on the
shoulders of self-employed agents. Raising the GET is a huge burden to
commissioned workers in your County. Please vote NO! --

matter in advance of Tuesday's vote.
