I write to express my opposition to Bill 165 which would add a County 4 ,T.
of Hawaii surcharge of one-half percent on top of the current 4.0
General Excise Tax. .
We should be removing or at least reducing the GE tax. As you know, : _this is the most regressive tax known to man. We are already taxed to —a
death here in Hawaii. Please represent the people, no one wants more ;;
taxes, cut spending by reducing waste. NO
