I write to express my opposition to Bill 165 which would add a County
of Hawaii surcharge of one-half percent on top of the current 4.0
General Excise Tax. t.
Please do not increase the taxes in Hawaii. The cost of living is
already so expensive people are having to work multiple jobs to keep
food on their plates. This HUGE increase is unfair to residents of the 4.3
r-
islands and is unnecessary. I am voting for no increase. Thank you.

matter in advance of Tuesday's vote.
