Aloha Council Member Onishi,
I write to express my opposition to Bill 165 which would add a County
of Hawaii surcharge of one-half percent on top of the current 4.0 c.
General Excise Tax.
This tax would add an already heavy burden to your constituents. Do not
support this bill. It is an unfair weight and strain on local 4
islanders who already take on too great a load to survive and make it
here on this island. •
