Aloha Council Member Onishi,
I write to express my opposition to Bill 165 which would add a County
of Hawaii surcharge of one-half percent on top of the current 4.0 4r
General Excise Tax. c.. C
I think the County does a reasonably good job taking care of our island
without the need for additional funds. The property taxes have been
increasing substantially and the roads are in decent condition. Cad
The more money government takes, the more money they waste. I think the
County should learn to live within its means without raising the GET!
They've been trying for decades to raise it! and my answer is still a Ln
resounding "NO". CO
