Dearest County Council, Gov. Ige and News Editors: I have seen the little brochure and the big poster regarding 5 ways you can prevent the spread of ROD. It's kind of strange that there,is a moratorium on shipping ohia interisland and some ideas on how to clean your shoes and chainsaws, but that is not really addressing the issue. The biggest perpetrator of ROD are the bulldozers, and it's not even on the State/County's list. How about a surcharge of how-ever-much is costs to steam clean the dozer each time you move it, billable to whoever's lot you doze? Although I'm not really sure there is a way to really clean between all those treads, it could perhaps help with ROD, and it for sure would help with the transmission of all those unwanted weeds, fire ants and coquis! Hope some good ideas come out of this action. Sincerely, Sara Steiner P.O. Box 2011 Pahoa, HI 96778 936-9546 cp .ate Ref. To: ?I t eV' Ref. Dote APR 19 2111r7
