Dear Council Members,
I am writing in support of Resolution No.36o-16 and Communication No. 592.1.
I urge the Hawai'i County Council to vote to accept the generous offer of a donation of land from the Hawaiian
Paradise Park Owners Association.The creation of a public park near Highway 13o at the corner of 26th and Kaloli is
a benefit for the public, and especially the residents of Puna makai.
I also support Communication No.592.1 because I believe this park should be a priority for the Department of Parks
and Recreation, and I believe two years is sufficient time for the creation of a master plan.
Thank you in advance for your consideration, and I look forward to the day that this park is opened.
