Subject: Ban Styrofoam Please!
Aloha,
I live in Waimea and strongly support the ban of styrofoam containers in Hawaii County. It is our responsibility
to do the right thing and using a styrofoam container for 4 minutes to eat lunch that will last for 500 years to
forever, is quite frankly a no brainer. The negative effect (cost)this ban will have on small businesses is
minuscule compared to the positive effect it will have on our beautiful island home and planet. I humbly ask
you vote in support of banning styrofoam in Hawaii County.
