Subject: Support bill 140 draft 2
My name is Ana Giliberti Ippel. I am writing in support of bill 140 draft 2. Hawaii needs to move towards a
future without major pollutants in our environment to include plastics and substances that will not biodegrade
from our environment. In addition, Styrofoam material is toxic to human health. Compostable materials are
safer to us and our environment. Styrofoam is also petroleum based, and we need to move towards a future
without fossil fuel based materials.
