As the Hilo landfill fills up, I don't not want to see their garbage trucked to Kona. Yes, eco clam-shells cost more, but the price is coming down due to mass production. Other municipalities already ban Styrofoam [polystyrene]. We got along fine without plastic grocery bags, so lets take the next step and be a leader to ban polystyrene.
