Subject: Please ban styrofoam from local restaurants
Hi Daniel,
My name is Lianne Tanaka Tamasese. I would like to encourage you to vote to ban styrofoam containers from
local restaurants. I know it may be a little more expensive for restaurants, but I believe the long term benefits
for our environment outweigh the economic savings for these businesses. I am proud that Hawaii is the first
State to ban plastic bags, and hope that we will also set the bar for banning other harmful items like styrofoam.
I appreciate you taking the time to read this and hope you will vote to ban styrofoam from local restaurants!
