Aloha,
I applaud the progressive actions of the council and would like to express my support of bill 140.
Styrofoam is detrimental to the environment and human health. Hawaii is the largest consumer of styrofoam in
the country. Let's change this embarrassing record.
The Ocean-friendly Restaurants Program shows that businesses can turn the perceived financial disadvantages
of switching to alternatives into valid advantages that helps them flourish financially while doing the right
thing.
