REPORT OF THE <br /> COMMITTEE ON FINANCE <br /> DATE: June 2, 2016 Re: Comm.No. 893/Res.No. 530-16 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 1:40 p.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 530-16, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 530-16,transmitted by Finance Director Deanna S. Sako, via Comm.No. 893 <br /> dated May 16, 2016, authorizes the payment of funds of a later fiscal year and of more than one fiscal year <br /> for a multi-year extension of license agreement for real property to operate the Kea'au Transfer Station. <br /> This Resolution would authorize a five-year extension to the agreement with W. H. Shipman to utilize land <br /> for the Kea'au Transfer Station. The annual license fee from July 1, 2016,to June 30, 2018, would be <br /> $5,000; and from July 1, 2018,to June 30, 2021, would be $7,500.
