Subject : Referral of Bill 204, an ordinance amending Chapter 20, of the Hawai'i County
Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended), by adding a new section relating to
public education for reduction of polystyrene foam disposable food service
containers
By unanimous vote of members present at the Environmental Management Commission
("EMC") meeting of May 25, 2016,the EMC decided to forward to the Hawai'i County Council a
negative recommendation on the above-referenced Bill No. 204.
Director Leithead Todd concurs with the Commission's decision.
