Pursuant to Section 92-5(a)(4), Hawai`i Revised Statutes, as amended, we request an
attorney-client confidential discussion in executive session to consult with the County Council
on matters pertaining to a proposed settlement agreement between the United States
Environmental Protection Agency and the County of Hawai'i regarding the operation of large
capacity cesspools at the Hilo Drag Strip and Hilo Trap and Skeet Range. We ask that this
matter be placed on the County Council's July 19,2016 agenda.
