Dear Chairman Kanuha and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Ms. Kirstin Kahaloa, of Council District 7 to the Hawai'i
County Liquor Commission. She is the Executive Director of the Kona-Kohala Chamber
of Commerce.
Ms. Kahaloa is the water polo coach at Hilo High School. She is a past Board Chair
and Trainer Corps Trainer of the Association of International Educators. Ms. Kahaloa
also volunteered with the United Way of St. Louis. She states that she is not affiliated
with any political party. If confirmed, Ms. Kahaloa will fill a vacant term to end
December 31, 2020.
