SUBJECT: A Resolution Urging the Director of the Department of Environmental
Management to Initiate a Request for Proposals for a Comprehensive Island-
Wide Solid Waste Program in Anticipation of the Closure of the South Hilo
Sanitary Landfill.
Attached is a resolution regarding solid waste.
I am requesting this resolution be placed on the appropriate agenda for the August 16, 2016
Committee meetings.
