AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 25,ARTICLE 4, DIVISION 5, SECTION 25- 4-55 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO PARKING FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: SECTION 1. Chapter 25, Article 4, Division 5, Section 25-4-55 of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended), is amended to read as follows: "Section 25-4-55. Parking for persons with disabilities. Parking for persons with disabilities shall comply with all applicable federal and state requirements for the facility or site. shall connect a clear path of travel, a minimum clear width of thirty six inches, to accessible . : . • .- , . • . . . SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets,bracketed material, and underscoring need not be included. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
