Dear Chairman Kanuha and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Mr. David Greenwell, of Council District 9 to the Hawaii
County Liquor Commission. He is employed by the State of Hawaii Department of
Agriculture as an irrigation worker.
Mr. Greenwell previously served a full term as a member of the Hawaii County Water
Board. He is a Boy Scouts of America Leader, and a board member of the Waimea
Community Association. Mr. Greenwell states that he is a member of the Republican
Party. If confirmed, he will fill a vacant term to end December 31 , 2020.
