To whom it may concern:
I am strongly opposed to Danny Paleka's Resolution 565,D2 UNLESS Margaret Wille's Amendment, Comm. 944.14 is
approved. Please do the right thing here and vote Pono for the people of this island. Mostly everyone who's given public
testimony locally seems to agree with the idea that styrofoam is a bad thing, so let's work on a solution together that
will help ban it in a way that provides positive education and resources for businesses and consumers and not in a way
that leads to more discussion about whether or not we need to have this ban in the first place. We need the ban. How
can we get there in the quickest, most positive, pono way possible? If you cannot pass this amendment please do not
vote for this resolution. We the people and our newly elected representatives will figure out a way to pass the original
bill 140(or possibly an even stronger bill) next session with or without this taskforce. Please put your time and energy on
something more urgent and productive.
