Dear Chairman Arakaki and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to submit the nomination of Phoebe M. Lambeth of Council
District 1, to the Hawaii County Police Commission to replace Clarence Souza of
Council District 1, whose term of office expired on December 31, 1998.
Mrs. Lambeth is a 44-year resident of Hawaii and since 1982, has been with the
Hilo Medical Center, and presently serves as its Assistant Administrator. She is
active in various community activities and is so described in the attached listing.
She is a member of the Republican Party.
If approved, Mrs. Lambeth will serve a term to end on December 31, 2003.
