WHEREAS , by instrument dated December 8 , 1977 , Yet Sung
Chang, a/k/a Yet Sun Chang and Josephine Sui Fook Chang, husband
and wife, granted unto the County of Hawaii a certainP arce 1
of land as described in the Warranty Deed attached hereto as
Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS , the parcel is conveyed to the County with the
express condition that said property shall be used for a
public park, playground and/or recreational area; and
WHEREAS , the parcel i s. conveyed to the County for the
sum of $1. 00,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII that said parcel of land as described in
Exhibit A be and is hereby declared accepted for use as a
public park, playground and/or other recreational use.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of the County ty o f
Hawaii be and is hereby authorized to accept the deed from
Yet Sung Chang, a/k/a Yet Sun Chang, and Josephine Sui Fook
Chang, husband and wife, as Grantee for the County of Hawaii,,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be authorized
and directed to forward a copy of this resolution to the
Department of Parks and Recreation and to Mr. and Mrs. Chang
Dated at Hilo, Hawaii, this 14th day of December, 1977.,
