The grant funds <br /> will be used to purchase Driver's License/State ID readers. In the current fiscal year's <br /> budget, $125,000 is appropriated for this grant. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating the <br /> additional funds into the HCPD Data Grant account, bringing the total grant <br /> appropriation to $135,680. <br /> The Police Department is requesting that this bill be waived from the Finance Committee <br /> review, and be placed on the September 21, 2016 Council agenda in order expedite the <br /> receipt of these funds.
