Adds a one-way fare of $4 for the Hele-On Kdko`o Paratransit system, which provides transportation services to persons eligible through the Americans with Disabilities Act. AYES: Council Members Chung, David, Eoff, Ilagan, Onishi, Paleka, Wille, and Chair Kanuha — 8; NOES: None; ABSENT: Council Member Poindexter — 1; EXCUSED: None. Bill 232: Amends Ordinance No. 16-72, as Amended, the Operating Budget for the County of Hawaii for the Fiscal Year Ending June 30, 2017. Increases revenues in the Federal Grants — Assistance to Firefighters Grant account ($1,369,493); and appropriates the same to the Assistance to Firefighters Grant account.
