Re: Contingency Relief Funds (Council District 2)
Contingency Relief funds from Council District 2 will be appropriated to the Department of
Research and Development to provide a grant to the Big Island Resource Conservation and
Development Council (BIRCDC) to purchase materials and supplies in order for Big Island
Invasive Species Committee (BIISC)to conduct education and training on proper pesticide use
that will qualify residents in Council District 2 to participate in the County's LFA Pesticide
Treatment Voucher Program.
Attached is a resolution authorizing the transfer of$1,700 from the Clerk-Council Services-
Contingency Relief account to the following account and project:
