Dear Chairman Kanuha and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Mr. Mitchell Tam to the County Merit Appeals Board.
Mr. Tam is a lifelong resident of Hawaii. He is employed by SunRun solar as a
Residential Consultant.
Mr. Tam is a member of the Lions Club of Kona, and he volunteers with the Hawaii Red
Cross. He is a former member of the Sunrise Rotary Club. Mr. Tam states that he is
not affiliated with any political party. If confirmed, he will fill a term to end on
December 31 , 2019, replacing Jube Kuewa whose term ended on December 31 , 2014.
