SUBJECT: A Resolution Urging the 2017 Hawai`i State Legislature to Promote Ocean
Health by Banning the Sale of Sunscreens and Other Personal Care Products
that Contain Oxybenzone.
Attached is a resolution urging the 2017 Hawaii State Legislature to ban the sale of
sunscreens and other personal care products that contain oxybenzone.
I am requesting this resolution be placed on the appropriate agenda for the October 18, 2016,
Committee meetings.
