Dear Chairman Kanuha and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Mr. Enock N. Freire of Council District 7, to the County of
Hawaii Water Board. Mr. Freire is a 32-year resident of Hawaii. He is an Assistant
Vice President and Financial Advisor at American Savings Bank. Mr. Friere previously
served a 4-year term on the Hawaii County Public Access, Open Space, and Natural
Resources Preservation Commission.
Mr. Freire is a member and treasurer of the GVS Accelerator Board, a member of
Accessible Hawaii, and an advisory board member of Atini International (an
international community development organization). He states that he is not affiliated
with any political party. If confirmed, he will serve a term to end on December 31, 2020.
