Re: Resolution for multi-year lease
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the payment of funds for more than one fiscal year,
for a new multi-year lease agreement for one tractor mower with a rear flail for the
Department of Public Works, Highways Division. This equipment is in the current fiscal
year's budget.

A. REQUEST:
RESOLUTION for: (1) Tractor Mower w/Rear Flail
...to be paid through a multi-year lease agreement over a 5-year (60-month) period. Items is equipment that
has already been budgeted under the rental/lease account.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
1 -Tractor Mower w/Rear Flail for Kohala Roads to replace 317E
The new equipment will help to alleviate equipment repair and parts cost spent on older equipment that
breaks down. It will also increase efficiency and amount of work done due to the mower being available for
use instead of in the repair shop.
Future year budgets will take into account the funds needed based on estimated financial terms.
