Re: Resolution for multi-year lease
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the payment of funds for more than one fiscal year,
for a new multi-year lease agreement for three mini excavators for the Department of
Public Works, Highways Division. This equipment is in the current fiscal year's budget.

A. REQUEST:
RESOLUTION for: (3) Mini Excavators
...to be paid through a multi-year lease agreement over a 5-year (60-month) period. Items is equipment that
has already been budgeted under the rental/lease account.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
3 - Mini Excavators to Puna Roads, Kona Roads and Hamakua Roads as new additions for work as needed.
The new equipment will help to increase efficiency and amount of work done due to more equipment being
available in different districts.
Future year budgets will take into account the funds needed based on estimated financial terms.
