Re: Resolution for multi-year lease
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the payment of funds for more than one fiscal year,
for a new multi-year lease agreement for two small boom trucks for the Department of
Public Works, Highways Division. This equipment is in the current fiscal year's budget.

A. REQUEST:
RESOLUTION for: (2) Small Boom Trucks
...to be paid through a multi-year lease agreement over a 5-year (60-month) period. Items are equipment
already budgeted under the rental/lease account.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
1 - Boom Truck to South Hilo Roads to replace CH1877
1 - Boom Truck to Puna Roads to replace CH1907
These trucks will help to alleviate equipment repair and parts cost spent on older equipment that breaks
down. It will also increase efficiency and amount of work done due to equipment being avaiable for use
rather than in the repair shop.
Future year budgets will take into account the funds needed based on estimated financial terms.
