Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Communication No. 1096, reports as follows:
Communication No. 1096, submitted by Mayor William P. Kenoi dated September 27, 2016, nominates
Teresa L. Reveira to the Puna Community Development Plan Action Committee, for a four-year term to
end on December 20, 2020.
Ms. Reveira was introduced by Ilihia Gionson, Executive Assistant to Mayor Kenoi.
Speaking by videoconference from Pahoa, Ms. Reveira expressed gratitude for the nomination. She said
she is very happy to be involved in her community and that she would like to help in any way.
There was no further discussion.
Ms. Reveira was informed that she is not required to be present for Council confirmation.
Your Committee on Planning is in accord with the purpose and intent of Communication No. 1096, and
recommends confirmation of the appointment of Teresa L. Reveira to the Puna Community
Development Plan Action Committee.
